AUTOVIA Car Rental at Florence Airport

Autovia and partners Ecovia offer great value for money car rental rates at Florence Airport. A free shuttle takes Autovia customers to the car rental office and parking lot, which is located ca 10 minutes away in Via Francesco Basili. Basic rental rates with Autovia include partial Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection. For example, if you hire an Opel Corsa from Autovia Florence Airport, the Collision Damage Waiver excess is 1,390 euros, and Theft Protection excess is 1,500 euros. A deposit of 500 euros is required for smaller type vehicles such as the Opel Corsa. Deposit amounts are held on the credit card customers must produce at the time of pick-up, and when the car is returned undamaged at the end of the rental contract, the amount is released again.

To hire a vehicle it is also possible to pay by cash, and make a cash deposit, or pay by prepaid credit card. If a deposit is made by debit card, the card must be from an Autovia-approved source.

At the end of the contract, when it's time to return the car, customers should simply follow the airport signs "Autonoleggi/Car Rental" that will direct them back to the Autovia parking lot at Florence Airport.
